Abstract

Introduction. Modern science provides versatile study of the system of sports training. In this context, scientists seek to investigate all stages of the development of athletes, from a beginner to an international master of sports. One of the components that quite thoroughly reveals the features of an athlete’s physical and technical preparation in various sports are model characteristics that allow one to achieve one or another level of sportsmanship.

In this regard, studies aimed at establishing model indicators of the physical and technical readiness of triple jumpers at various stages of multi-year training are gaining indisputable relevance.

Objective of the study is to develop model indicators of the physical and technical readiness of triple jumpers at various stages of long-term training to improve sports performance in the triple jump.

Material and methods. In the course of the presented research, the following methods were used: theoretical analysis and generalization of data from scientific and methodical literature, pedagogical observation, pedagogical testing, dynamometry method, methods of mathematical statistics.

Participants. The article presents the results of a study of 50 sportswomen who specialize in the triple jump. The sports qualifications of the research participants had the following characteristics: 15 triple jumpers of the Second-Class, 15 of the First-Class, 10 of the CMS and 10 of the MS. The research was conducted during the training process in the second preparatory period of the annual training cycle, as well as during educational and training meetings.

Results. On the basis of the empirical data of the study of triple jumpers at different stages of sports improvement, which reflect the level of physical and technical preparation depending on the sports qualification, the results were obtained that can serve as peculiar ranges of preparation, within which female athletes achieve the appropriate result in the triple jump. The specified ranges can be used as models, in the preparation of the sports reserve, and also as a tool for correcting indicators of physical or technical readiness of triple jumpers.

Conclusion. The model characteristics of physical readiness and kinematic parameters of the technique, in the conditions of performing a triple jump from a run of different lengths, have been developed. The obtained research results will allow coaches and athletes to more effectively manage the training process and adjust the direction of loads in accordance with the model characteristics at various stages of multi-year training.
