Abstract

Introduction. The psychophysiological state of an athlete is an indispensable component of his general sports readiness. In order to predict the quality of athletes’ sports activities, it is important to study psychophysiological properties and their changes under the influence of environmental factors. The psychophysiological state of student-athletes is subject to a double load, namely the combination of training and competitions with training load and session stress. Student-athletes must constantly adapt to a high level of information and physical load. The aim of the research: analysis of the modulation of psychophysiological reactions of student athletes engaged in sports games and martial arts under the influence of information load, which will make it possible to develop new methods and forms of recovery of the athletes’ bodies and increase the success of their activities. Research methods: to determine the state of psychophysiological reactions of student-athletes, the program “Psychodiagnostics” was used. The information load was modeled by computerized tests of Schulte, Bourdon and Horbov. Statistical processing was carried out by one-way analysis of variance using the Bonferroni test. The results. It was established that under the influence of informational load in young men engaged in martial arts, an increase in the indicators of the latent period of a simple visual-motor reaction was observed by 5%, in the reaction of choosing two signals out of three, this indicator increased by 20%. In the complex visual-motor reactions of RFMNP and SNP, the value of the time of the latent period after the informational load increased by 13% and 20%, respectively. In athletes of game sports, the latent period time in simple visual-motor reaction increased by 15%, the latent period time in RCh 2-3 increased by 11%. The same indicator increased by 20% both in the reaction of the RFMNP and in the SNP. In martial arts athletes, the number of errors in a simple visual-motor reaction increased by 39%, in RCh 2-3 – by 11%, and in the RFMNP reaction – by 21%. In athletes of game sports, the number of errors in a simple visual-motor reaction increased by 11%, in the reaction of choosing two signals out of three – by 28%, and in RFMNP – by 40%. Conclusions. Under the influence of information load, there are minor shifts in psychophysiological indicators. Thus, students of game sports have higher adaptive capabilities to the information load compared to students engaged in martial arts.
