Justification of innovative technology for fostering patriotism in primary school children through various forms of physical education

Introduction. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the imposition of martial law have become a challenge for our state. This has made adjustments to the daily life of Ukrainians, which has contributed to a critical decrease in the level of physical activity, and therefore the level of health in general. At the same time, today’s challenges, on the one hand, have actualized the issue of patriotic education of the generation growing through the system of general secondary education of Ukraine, and on the other hand, the issues of creating a comfortable educational environment for schoolchildren and, in particular, the organization of the educational process in physical education have become important. It was found that a large number of scientific studies are devoted to the issue of patriotic education of the growing generation. However, currently there is a lack of scientific research that touches on the issues of the formation of patriotic feelings, the principles of leading a healthy lifestyle, the multiplication and preservation of family traditions, interest in the traditions of Ukraine, compliance with the rules of respectful treatment of national symbols) through the use of various forms of physical education with younger schoolchildren, which and determined the relevance of the chosen research topic. Purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate the innovative technology for the formation of patriotism in children of primary school age in various forms of physical education to increase their national self-awareness. Research methods: analysis of literary sources and Internet data, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment.
Results. The structure of innovative technology for the formation of patriotism in children of primary school age in various forms of physical education, which contains the purpose, principles, tasks, forms, means, innovative approaches, stages of implementation and criteria of effectiveness. The innovative technology is based on information and practical approaches to the formation of patriotism in children of primary school age in various forms of physical education: familiarization with the variety of innovative and traditional means and methods of patriotism in children of primary school age in various forms of physical education, the basics of a healthy lifestyle, multiplication and preservation of family traditions, interest in the traditions of Ukraine, compliance with the rules of respect for national symbols. The orientation of classes in various forms of physical education, which were part of the innovative technology, depended on the level of physical condition of children of primary school age, their motivation to engage in physical education, maintain a healthy lifestyle and preserve family traditions. The direct introduction of innovative technology in the classroom form provided for the organization of the structure of the lesson and the design of classes according to the appropriate type of lesson. According to the type of organization of the process of physical education in the conditions of online learning, synchronous and asynchronous modes were distinguished, and a mixed form was also used.
