The journal presents articles on topical issues of physical education and sport, as well as on the problems of formation, recovery, strengthening and maintaining the health of various segments of the population, physical rehabilitation and recreational physical culture. It also displays the means of physical culture, its forms and methods, the basic principles of health technologies and disease prevention.
“Sportyvnyi Visnyk Prydniprovia” (“Prydniprovia Journal of Sports Science”) is an open access scientific journal. All articles are freely available for access, reading, downloading, and printing.
The publication fee is detailed in the "Publication fee policy" section.
Students pursuing the second and third levels of higher education (graduate and PhD students) who are the sole authors of the submitted manuscript are exempt from the publication fee.
The Editorial Office and the Editorial Board adhere to the following timelines in their work:
- Manuscripts are accepted from authors for publication throughout a year;
- Manuscripts are reviewed as they are received by the editorial office, and the review process takes up to 30 days;
- Manuscripts must be revised and formatting issues corrected (in accordance with the comments of the Reviewers and Editors) by the authors within 14 days;
- Re-review of revised manuscripts is conducted within 14 days;
- Articles recommended for publication are considered at the meetings of the Editorial Board three times a year, during the following periods: from April 1 to April 15; from September 1 to September 15; from December 1 to December 15;
- The journal is published, and full texts of articles are made publicly available in open access on the journal’s website three times a year, by the following dates: by April 30; by September 30; by December 30.
